These cookies are perfect for a rainy day and the spices and cranberries make for a heartwarming dessert!
Recipe: (makes 12)
Ingredients:
- 100g selfrising flour
- 50g brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 3/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 75g soft butter
- 1 tablespoon milk
- a handful of chopped dried cranberries
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven at 180°C
- Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl
- Add the butter and milk to make a dough (you can use your hands if you want to)
- Add the cranberries and spread evenly throughout the dough
- Line a baking sheet with baking paper
- Divide the dough into 12 small balls and place them on the baking sheet
- Press the balls into rounds with a large wooden spoon (approximately 0,5cm thickness)
- Bake 15min in the preheated oven (until the edges are golden brown)
