Crochet pillow case

I had some dark orange yarn left from the autumnal sweater I crocheted a while ago and I had a pillow that needed a cover. And so I crocheted a soft and warm toned pillow case. For the back I finished the panel with another orange yarn I still had in stock and a stripe of white yarn. Then I crocheted the two panels toghether with a third kind of leftover orange yarn. I love the softness of the yarn and the warm look of the colours. I'm thinking of maybe adding some embellishments like crochet flowers or tassels. What do you think?

The pattern is very simple:

1. Crochet two rectangles with the size of your pillow with any stitch you like. I used half double crochet stitches.

2. Work away any loose threads

3. Crochet the two parts together with single crochet stitches or slip stitches. Use two stitches instead of one in every corner. Once you have one side left you insert the pillow and crochet it closed or if you like you can insert a zipper.

4. Sew in threads and it's finished!
