DIY floral hoop

Welcome to my latest creative project!

I created a floral hoop based on a tutorial from the DIY magazine from Ariadne at Home.

They have a lot of decorating ideas for the home and fairly easy DIY’s.

To make a floral hoop you need the following materials:

- metal wire

- flowers (the ones I bought had metal wire on the back)

- pliers

- a piece of rope or ribbon to hang the floral hoop on

Steps to follow:

 - wrap the wire 3-4 times around a flower pot or something round with the size of circle you want to create and cut the wire

- use your pliers to cut off several pieces of wire

- twist the wires into two and twist to create your first petal on top; twist the wires to the left and right and into another petal by bending them in two and twisting them back; create as many petals as you like this way

- twist the petals around the round wire with the ends of the wire

- twist the flowers around the round wire and use them to cover up the ends of the wire from the petals

- cut off a piece of rope or ribbon and knot around the wire

- choose a spot in your home to display your new decor item!
